3) If the distance is greater than 1 1/2”, loosen the height adjustment screw shown below in figure 3.6. Then raise or lower the vice

until the spacing is approximately 1 1/2“ and tighten the height adjustment screw.

Open the vice up so that the spindle nose cone will fit inside. Then press the Z jog down button until the spindle is

down inside the clamp. (see figure 3.7)
