Next, loosen the tilt adjustment lock screw shown below in figure 3.18 screws approximately 1 turn.

You will now need to tilt the clamping assembly up or down to align the edge of the material you are engraving with the

spindle. See figure 3.19 below.

Once the object is parallel to the spindle, tighten the tilt locking knob.

Next, adjust your spindle and cutter. For help with setting the spindle and cutter, please see the section on adjusting the

spindle later in this chapter.
